Strong Auckland Sales – Crockers

The latest Auckland sales price table from Crockers has highlighted the trend of Auckland property outstripping nationwide price increases in the June year-on-year comparison.
The increase in Auckland sales of 16% was consistent with national sales, increasing 17% since June 2011.
Statistics provided by the Real Estate Institute of New Zealand show an overall increase in median sales price of 8% in the Auckland area (from $461,000 to $500,000) compared to the national increase of 3% ($360,000-$372,000).
Nine Auckland suburbs experienced double-digit price increases with Mount Eden/Epsom showing the greatest increase of 26%, from $644,000–$813,000.
